"Hi" Sydney X:-) Thanks for dropping by my bloggy and for the invite to your bEaUtIfUL blog X:-) I just so love a good animal story and you tell them so well X:-) I have similar relationships with some birds in my backyard... A large family unit of Magpies, a Crow family, a rather shy Kookaburra (Who mainly hangs around my husband when he gardens for the worms that he tosses him) and some Rosella's but my favorites are the shy little Blackbird 'couple' that come back regularly to build a new nest and rear their babies... I LoVe that they tRuSt us enough to share their most precious possessions and one of their old nests is one of mY most treasured possessions... This isn't to forget the possums who LoVe our left over dinner scraps AND l am currently on my husbands back (!!!) to bury an old bath tub we have, in preparation for a 'frog pond'... As l would so dearly lOvE to have one such as one of my neighbors does ...Because every night l delight in listening to their little unique calls to each other... Such a beautiful lullaby (Not forgetting that our frogs actually NEED nurturing to survive these days)Well Thankyou so much Sydney... Now l will HAVE to come back to find out what happened to Mrs Goose... GoodLuck x
(Ps) Would you mind if l made a 'link' to you on my site as l know some other gals that would so love your stories too X:-)

Quacks me up too!

For some reason, it reminds me of my weiner dog's face!

Donna, I totally get that -- the brown feathers so smooth like wiener dog fur, the beak about as long as a weiner dog snout. And they certainly both are humorous!
