Picture of the Day
I was going in to the grocery store the other day and saw this utterly sweet doggie dozing outside. It had the most peaceful, lovely face. I only had my iPhone with me (no zoom) and I didn't want to get too much closer to get the shot for fear of him or her moving, so I snapped what I could. Dogs are just such special beings. They wait for you, they are so patient, they love love love you and no matter what, that tail will start wagging. Anybody know what kind of dog this is?

he is beautiful. looks like a Border Collie to me.
i've forgotten what they're called but they are great dogs. we had one when i was a child and it had one blue eye and one brown one.
I'm with indie Grrl on this one I think its a border collie. Sheep dog, they herd real well and listen to whistle commands. Rock, I posted my beasties for you to see. I know you haven't checked my blog out in a while. I follow posted you after the dog in the truck.
I believe that's an Australian Shepherd.
Whatever he/she is... it's a beautiful dog. Makes me want to leave work and go home to mine!
